I think I have a question particularly about this issue, since you mentioned deadlines.
You mentioned that, basicaly, you don't mind stepping over deadlines if you can make better art that way and that you're ultimately judged by the art you created.
But won't Future Employers also judge you by timeliness?
I remember Mike Deodato Jr. talking about this once, and the said that meeting deadlines is one of the most important things in the industry.
I assume there is always a difference between turning things in late and turning them in too late, so I'm kinda wondering how tight is that line between keeping deadlines and not keeping them for the sake of higher quality?
