Here's a piece I did for the November Issue of PLAY (on stands now!!) its on PG 30, its a feature about the Video Game Critters of yesteryear and where they are or perhaps aren't today. There's 33 total here, plus 9 consoles and I don't know how many games. This.. was... FUN. lol I actually finished it on 42 hrs of no sleep straight and then went right to Long Beach Con.. boy was I toasted that night lol
thx! yeah this isn't the most characters I've drawn at once, but i is the most I've drawn AND colored lol usually I try to team-up on these, but time constraints didn't allow it. It takes something a little special to work up the passion to color all of them after drawing that many lol plus with changes (I had to redraw like 10) so with the color I really had to get it right on first try, luckily it passed the test with my EIC lol
I can't imagine drawing that many characters in one picture, but you sir did a marvelous job on this. I love that every character is true to the original style (and some look even better.)
